Lassenite’s ability to “lock in” hydro-carbons and heavy metals makes it an ideal material for soil remediation. Encapsulated soils can be combined with Portland cement to be re-used as paving or building material. Lassenite is also excellent for use in land reclamation by conditioning damaged soils and preparing them to support re-vegetation.
